Vernon Kay has declared "that's it" as he shared an "emotional" update about his wife, Tess Daly, as her time on Strictly Come Dancing comes to an end. In a recent broadcast of his BBC Radio 2 show, Vernon reminded listeners that the current series of Strictly will soon draw to a close, in what he anticipates will be an "emotional" time .

In a shock announcement in October, Tess Daly and co-host Claudia Winkleman (who also presents The Traitors and joined It Takes Two in 2004) revealed they would be parting ways with the flagship BBC series. Their final show will be this year's Christmas special, which, for Tess will mark an end to a 21-year stint.
