The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged "vote theft" in the Aland Assembly constituency during the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections has filed a chargesheet against seven people, including former BJP MLA Subhash Guttadar and his son Harsh Anand Guttadar.
The chargesheet was submitted before the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Bengaluru.
According to the SIT, the accused allegedly attempted to delete the names of 5,994 voters from the electoral rolls with the intention of influencing the election outcome.
