Just in time for the holiday season, Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse is dressed in warm, cheery colours to celebrate Christmas.

A tradition for 78 years, the annual Poinsettia Show transforms the showhouse with hundreds of traditional poinsettias on display along with cyclamens, amaryllis and seasonal greens.

On a quiet Sunday afternoon, I headed out to the showhouse to enjoy this holiday tradition.

The Central House welcomes visitors with a dazzling Christmas tree designed with creamy yellow poinsettias and decorated with pink satin and mirrored balls, a delicate pink tulle ruffle completes the picture.
