The holidays have rolled into downtown St. Catharines and the Holiday Trail gives you an extra reason to explore the core with food and retail top of mind.

I have talked about downtown a few times this year, and if you have not taken the time to check out its new and exciting businesses and eateries, this event might give you the nudge to spend an evening there.

The Holiday Trail event, which took place Dec. 4 and repeats Dec. 18, features 30 stops that have been created with 25 retail shops featured. All participating businesses will be open until 8 p.m. and give you an opportunity to explore downtown while crossing items off your Christmas shopping list.
