There are some distractions in Athens ahead of the College Football Playoff.
Georgia football starting freshman offensive lineman Dontrell Glover and running back Bo Walker were arrested Friday for shoplifting, according to reports.
The pair were arrested after 5:30 p.m. ET on Friday on misdemeanor charges of shoplifting, per WSBTV in Atlanta , and released before 8 p.m. on a $1,526 bond.
“We were informed of the charges and are currently in the process of gathering additional information,” Georgia spokesman Steve Drummond told ESPN’s Dan Murphy .
“This is a pending legal matter and we will not have further comment at this time.”
It is not know yet whether these arrests will affect the pair’s status for the playoffs, with the third-seeded Bulldogs (12-1) facing on Jan. 1 the winne
