A Quincy man pleaded not guilty in Salem District Court on Tuesday to multiple firearm-related charges stemming from an alleged shooting on Route 128 North earlier this week, Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker’s Office announced.

Thomas Drequan Perkins, 26, was arraigned on charges including two counts of armed assault with intent to murder with a firearm, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, discharging a firearm near a highway, and defacing property, according to the DA’s office.
