AIIMS Delhi has achieved a significant breakthrough in stroke care by leading the country's first dedicated clinical trial of a novel brain stent specifically engineered for severe stroke treatment.

The GRASSROOT trial assessed the Supernova stent, developed by Gravity Medical Technology, and reported outstanding safety and effectiveness outcomes, according to officials.
