SRINAGAR : The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Saturday announced a scheduled power shutdown affecting several areas in South Kashmir on December 14, 2025. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 132 kV Mirbazar–Mattan transmission line will undergo maintenance, necessitating a temporary suspension of electricity supply. As a result, residents and businesses in Pahalgam, Achabal, Mattan, Gopalpora and adjoining localities will experience power outages from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The power utility urged consumers to take necessary precautions during the outage period and advised industries, hospitals and essential services to make alternative arrangements to minimise inconvenience.
