Over 20 people lined up ahead of the 6:30 a.m. opening Friday of the first Chick-fil-A in Ann Arbor.
Customers in line were excited for the new spot and many wore clothing with cow print, a nod to the chain’s mischievous chicken-promoting mascots.
Patrons dressed in the print received one free entrée to celebrate the restaurant’s opening Dec. 12 at 3310 Washtenaw Ave.
The national chain first announced the Ann Arbor opening in May 2024. The site replaces an old Denny’s that closed in March 2022.
