Taking a small break from writing about my husband’s cancer journey at Roger Maris Cancer Center, I turn my attention to Christmas.

I love Christmas and the symbolism of bringing light into the world, a theme explored at a silent retreat I attended Sunday, hosted by the Presentation Sisters. I became reflective.
