DORIS E. HETRICK

Doris Elaine Hetrick, 85, of Newport passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.

She was born Oct. 4, 1940, on the Tommy Baker farm in Buckwheat Valley, Millerstown, to William A. and Martha M. (Baker) Trout while her Aunt Betty was visiting.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald L. Hetrick, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.

Surviving are five children, Debra J. Gleim (David) of Newport, Jill A. Gerhart (Timothy) of Sterling, Va., Janice E. Hestor (Juan Seiber) of Duncannon, Barbara J. Kline (Michael) of Newport and D. Jerry Hetrick (Anna) of Enola; two older sisters, Kathryn E. Crawford and Joyce J. Hess; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
