Spurs sign 6-foot-4 former Lakers guard to assist Victor Wembanyama
The San Antonio Spurs made a roster move on Friday that could pay off for the franchise in the long run.
The five-time NBA champions signed a 6-foot-4 former Los Angeles Lakers guard to assist Victor Wembanyama.
“The San Antonio Spurs are signing Kyle Mangas to a two-way contract,” HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reported on X/Twitter. “Mangas has averaged 18.5 points on 50% shooting from the field and 41% from three-point range, 5.0 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 steals for the Austin Spurs in the G-League.”
Despite being a pro for nearly five seasons, the Indiana Wesleyan product has yet to compete in an official NBA contest. Mangas started his career with USK Praha (Czech Republic) and Siaulia
