Two deranged grinches punched a pair of donkeys in the face at a Nativity scene, defecated in a church, and ransacked a Christmas market in Germany during a violent spree last month.

The still at-large vandals wreaked havoc at the Erbach Castle Christmas market on Nov. 30 — taking out their unseasonal ire on donkeys Max and Lily, who were part of a living Nativity scene, Hit Radio FFH reported .

The friendly donkeys were walloped as soon as they came over to greet the two maniacs at the edge of the manger scene, said a witness who chased the violent vandals off, according to local outlet Merkur .
