Nearly a week after it was first opened, service on Line 6 has resumed after it was yet again partially shut down on Saturday.
Service between Finch West and Tobermory stations stopped twice at two different intervals due to a mechanical problem, according to TTC Service Alerts on social media.
The first stoppage took place around 8:50 a.m. and resumed 20 minutes later, while the second occurred around 11:45 a.m. only to be fixed about 25 minutes later.
The newly unveiled Finch West LRT faced mechanical hiccups throughout its first week. Similar issues, with a complete temporary stoppage of the line, was seen on Thursday.
TTC said shuttle buses were running between impacted stations.
The TTC said in an email to CBC News that Metrolinx was looking into the issue. CBC News reached out
