A huge fire has broken out at a train station, with crews racing to the scene.

Dramatic footage shows the station cabin of Maam Cross train station in Co Galway, Ireland, engulfed in flames with multiple fire crews tackling the blaze.

All the windows of the building were shattered as a result of the fire, Galway Beo reports. An eyewitness said: "So I went to Maam Cross to photograph the train and this happened. What a terrible tragedy after all the great work by the organisers to get it going." There are no reports of injuries, according to the Irish Mirror .
