After years of waiting, DC fans are finally getting Lobo on the big screen as the character makes his feature film debut in Supergirl. Even better, he is played by Jason Momoa, a perfect bit of casting that seemed impossible following Momoa being cast as Aquaman in the DCEU. Yet, with that shared universe over and James Gunn's new DCU beginning, Momoa can step into the role of Lobo without the same fanboy questions plaguing his recasting that Marvel Studios faces with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom.
