Naturally, the 73-9 chatter followed, and Jalen Williams, who was supposed to give the team a major boost , shared his two cents.
Inside the locker room, the tone is pretty different. Calm. Grounded. Almost stubbornly focused. This group has been on the other side of the standings before, and that memory still matters. A lot. Williams made that clear when asked about chasing the Warriors’ iconic record.
“Yeah, there’s a chance, I wouldn’t say that’s the goal. Obviously, there’s a bigger goal than the record.”
