As Vin Diesel goes full throttle toward the Fast & Furious grand finale, he’s expanding the franchise’s star-studded extended cast with the onscreen debut of a global star.

On Friday, the producer and star of the action movies announced that he has a role for Cristiano Ronaldo in the upcoming 12th and final installment Fast X: Part 2 , set for an April 2027 premiere , sharing the news with a photo of the two of them on Instagram.

“Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one. We wrote a role for him…” Diesel captioned the post .
