The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 is about to up the ante, by putting the show’s protagonist, Mickey Haller, on trial for murder. However, it isn’t the first TV show to serve up such a plot twist. In fact, there’s another series developed by the same showrunner and producer, with a remarkably similar premise.

We’ll begin The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 in the aftermath of Mickey’s arrest. Since the bloodied body of Sam Scales was found in the trunk of his car, he’s going to be naturally the prime suspect in a murder investigation, and subsequent trial.
