MAVERICK COUNTY, Texas — A San Antonio man accused in the deadly shooting outside the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass has been indicted on multiple felony charges, according to Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber.
The sheriff confirmed on Saturday that 34-year-old Keryan Jones was indicted on nine charges stemming from the casino shooting, including capital murder involving multiple victims, murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Online court records show Jones’ arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 7 at 10 a.m.
Jones is accused of opening fire outside the Lucky Eagle Casino in late September, killing two people and injuring five others.
