Speaking about the film’s extraordinary reception, Bedi said it was the first time he had seen a 3.5-hour-long Hindi movie that initially made audiences wonder who would sit through such a lengthy runtime.
Surprisingly, within just a week of its release, many viewers ended up watching the film three times. Calling this response highly unusual, Bedi credited the strong storytelling and engaging narrative for keeping audiences hooked despite its length.
The actor expressed happiness over the film’s success and said Dhruandhar proves that if the content is powerful, runtime becomes irrelevant for the audience.
