The class of 2026 is patiently waiting for the college acceptance letters – hoping that the holidays will be cheerful when they are accepted to their first choice. Now is a great time to start looking for ways to cover the cost of college.

Seniors should have already completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and they may have also completed the CSS Profile which is an additional financial aid application that University of Michigan and many other schools utilize to determine the institutional aid that will be awarded. Make sure you check with each school to determine their requirements, view the deadlines and monitor your student portal to determine any deficiencies.
