ATLANTA — Atlanta Hawks Guard Trae Young is expected to be back in practice nearly two months after his knee injury, according to a report from the team.
Young suffered an injury to his right knee during the game against the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 29.
After undergoing an MRI at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex, results confirmed he suffered from a MCL sprain in his right knee with no additional structural damage.
On Nov. 29, a month after his injury, the Atlanta Hawks released a statement saying he was making good progress in his recovery.
A spokesperson for the team said Young is increasing his reconditioning activities and is expected to return to practice the week of Dec. 14.
