Lady Gaga witnessed her colleague just dance right off the stage.
The Grammy winner brought her Dec. 13 concert in Sydney, Australia to a sudden stop after background dancer Michael Dameski accidentally slid offstage during her “Garden of Eden” performance. Following the incident, which was partially caused by heavy rainfall that made the stage slippery, the “Poker Face” singer swiftly sprang into action.
In the video posted to X , Gaga can be seen running to her dancer’s aid, repeatedly telling backstage crew to halt production, saying, “Stop.”
After the music silenced and lights dimmed, the 39-year-old peered below the stage where Michael had fallen. As the crowd’s concern grew louder, Gaga—real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta —attempted to soothe her fans.
