SEATTLE — Fogo de Chão just opened its first Rooftop Next Level Lounge in downtown Seattle.

The well-known restaurant from Brazil's rooftop location is at 400 University St., adjacent to Rainier Square.

The restaurant's bar manager, Derrick DeHerrera, stopped by KING 5 to talk about the opening.

DeHerrera, born and raised in the Seattle area, brings knowledge garnered from years in the local hospitality world, most recently, as food and beverage director at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

Amid holiday gatherings, DeHerrera also provided a drink-making demo for both a mocktail and a cocktail.

For a cocktail, DeHerrera shared the Dama d'Oro, which contains McQueen Ultraviolet Gin, Tempus Fujit Banane Liqueur, and Suze Aperitif.
