A star of Strictly Come Dancing 2025 has disclosed the reality of the injury that led to their exit from the competition, admitting they were heavily medicated with painkillers during their final performance on the show.

Stefan Dennis was compelled to abruptly end his journey on the popular programme after an injury necessitated his withdrawal.

He had been partnered with professional dancer Dianne Buswell at the start of the 2025 series in September.

The duo quickly dubbed themselves 'Team Aussie' and their time on the show began positively.

However, Stefan was forced to withdraw from the series in October due to a calf injury, reports the Manchester Evening News .
