UConn star wide receiver Skyler Bell was named a second-team Walter Camp All-American on Friday night.
The redshirt senior from the Bronx was one of 27 players selected to the second team. Twenty-five players made the first team. The Walter Camp team is the nation’s oldest college football All-America team, in its 136th year.
Bell became the fourth UConn player since the program moved to FBS in 2003 to earn All-American honors, joining former offensive lineman Christian Hayes (2022 & 2023) and running backs Jordan Todman (2010) and Donald Brown (2008).
He finished the season with 101 catches for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns, setting new school records for receptions and TDs. He averaged 12.7 yards per catch and 106.5 yards per game. He
