Days after the University of Michigan fired its football coach, students and fans on campus said they are feeling surprised and disappointed, but not worried for the future of Michigan football .
Former Michigan coach Sherrone Moore was fired for cause on Wednesday, Dec. 10, and arraigned in an Washtenaw County court with a felony home invasion charge and two misdemeanors on Friday, Dec. 12.
U-M students Sadhu Rajesh and Sophia Bordin said they were in the middle of study sessions when they saw the news on Instagram. They said they were shocked by the news and the whole situation.
“It’s just insane. I think he had a really good life. A wife and college football is a huge deal, and I think he made a dumb decision," Bordin said.
