The San Francisco 49ers added running back Christian McCaffrey gave fans quite a scare on Saturday by adding him to the injury report.

However, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Nick Wagoner reported on Saturday that he should be good to play despite his questionable designation for a back issue.

The team hosts the struggling Tennessee Titans on Sunday, a game that it could feasibly survive without McCaffrey playing. However, it's always better to have your superstar than not.

Breathe easy, 49ers fans. It sounds like McCaffrey should be cleared for playing on Sunday. We bet he has a big day against Tennessee despite his back injury.

Are any big 49ers players not expected to play?

The team will be missing linebacker Tatum Bethune and defensive linemen Sam Okuayinonu and Yetur Gross-Matos on Sunday.
