PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A gunman killed two students and injured at least nine others inside a Brown University engineering building on Saturday, triggering a massive police response and an ongoing manhunt as the campus and surrounding neighborhoods remained locked down into the night.

11:58 p.m. | It has now been almost eight hours since the shooting at Brown was first reported. The number of victims remains two dead and nine injured; none have been identified. At least 10 of the 11, and possibly all 11, were students. The shooter is still on the loose, and only limited video of him has been discovered and publicized.
