LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A woman was found shot in the Park Duvalle neighborhood; police are investigating what led up to the shooting.

Shortly after 4 p.m., Louisville Metro Police were called to the 1500 block of Beech Street on a reported shooting.

When they arrived on scene, police found a woman who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

The woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that police are calling non-life-threatening.

The Non-Fatal Shooting unit will lead the investigation.
