SilverStar Mountain Resort officially opens its alpine slopes today, offering skiers and snowboarders 26 runs, 20 cm of fresh snow, and three lifts in operation. More terrain is expected to open over the weekend as snowfall continues and conditions improve.
The Express Gondola, Comet Chair, and Silver Queen lifts are running, giving guests access to fresh powder, groomed trails, and early-season skiing and riding.
“We’re thrilled with how the mountain has come together this week,” said Ian Jenkins, Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. “Snowfall and cooler alpine temperatures have allowed us to open more terrain than expected, and our guests have been loving the early-season conditions. We look forward to opening even more runs this weekend.”
