An apparent drive-by shooting in North Philadelphia left two men hurt on Saturday evening, according to officials with the police department.

The shooting happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the intersection of 5th Street and Lehigh Avenue in the Fairhill section of Philadelphia, police reported.

A 33-year-old man was shot several times throughout his body and a 27-year-old was shot once in the foot, police said.

Officers were able to find both of the victims and took them to a nearby hospital, according to police.

Philadelphia police inspector D.F. Pace told NBC10 that investigators believe this was a drive-by shooting.

Officials are still searching for the suspected gunman.
