AEW has confirmed that Colten Gunn of The Gunns suffered a legitimate knee injury during last weekend’s AEW Collision taping. The injury has forced the team to be pulled from a newly-announced eight-team tournament to determine the next top contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Injury Confirmed, Pulled From Tournament
It was mentioned on the commentary of last night’s AEW Dynamite that the 34-year-old was indeed injured, and as a result, he and his brother Austin would not be a part of the tag team eliminator tournament. Gunn appeared to injure his knee during a four-way tag team match on the Collision taping after a jumping punch spot with Big Bill.
Another Setback For The Gunns
The injury is an unfortunate setback for the team, as the match on Collision was their first
