The NFC West-leading Los Angeles Rams activated wide receiver Tutu Atwell from injured reserve ‍in advance of Sunday’s home game against the Detroit Lions.

Atwell, 26, has not played in a game since Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars ‌at London because of ‌a hamstring injury. Los Angeles opened Atwell’s 21-day practice window on Nov. 19, but a roster crunch delayed his return.

The Rams made the move Saturday after opening a spot on ‍their 53-man roster when linebacker Nick Hampton was waived and later re-signed to the ‍practice squad.

In six games, Atwell has four receptions for 164 yards, including an 88-yard catch and run for a touchdown against the ‍Indianapolis Colts with 1:33 remaining in Week 4 that gave Los Angeles a ‍27-20 victory.

Atwell ‍has 103 receptions for 1,507 yard
