Justin Moorhouse has announced the tragic news his son has died. In an emotional social media post this evening, he wrote: "It is with the heaviest of hearts I have to tell you our beautiful boy Barney has passed away." The stand-up comedian from Ashton-under-Lyne is best known for his role as Young Kenny in Phoenix Nights.

The comedian appeared in other shows including Looking for Eric as "Spleen", and Guess The Attendance. He has also appeared as a guest on the Dave TV series As Yet Untitled with Alan Davies. As well as appearing on TV screens, Justin presented various shows at Manchester commercial radio station, Key 103 until February 2013.
