Two Punjabi youth shot dead in Edmonton, Canada

Edmonton (Canada), Two Punjabi Youth were shot dead in Edmonton, Canada. Both hailed from villages near Budhlada in Punjab, Both have been identified as Gurdeep Singh (27) of Barah and Ranveer Singh (18) of Uddat Saidewala. Both had come to Canada for their studies.

In a news release issued Friday afternoon, police said officers were called to a residential area around 32nd Street and 26th Avenue at 1:43 a.m. after someone reported hearing gunshots.

Police said when officers arrived, they found two injured men believed to be in their 20s. They said officers did what they could to try to save the men’s lives until paramedics arrived and took over lifesaving efforts. However, the two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
