The holidays are here and so is bowl season.

Make that bowl/playoff season.

The College Football Playoff may be taking up most of the postseason oxygen, but there are still plenty of bowl games to be played. That includes LSU’s final destination in the Texas Bowl, Dec. 27 against Houston. A pair of teams with huge regional interest also make their first foray into the CFP when Tulane plays Dec. 20 at Ole Miss.

The whole epic show begins Saturday with a pair of bowl games, followed by the start of the CFP next Friday, running through the CFP national championship game on Jan. 19 in Miami.
