GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Central boys wrestling coach Garrett Litzinger said his team is a little under the radar.
That likely won't be the case much longer.
Central won the annual Sertoma tournament for the first time since 1990 after beating Bismarck Century 40-32 in the semifinals and rolling past Perham 44-15 in the championship match on Saturday afternoon in the Central gymnasium.
"I think this was a pretty big shock to most people," Litzinger said. "We've started to get some recognition. For us to go through Bismarck Century, Thief River Falls and Perham ... pretty incredible."
Perham, Bismarck Century and West Fargo have been dominant in the Sertoma in recent years.
"Being a Central wrestler myself and growing up in the program, you knew how great those teams were," Litzinger
