A benefit claimant with a life-long condition that 'won't go away' has questioned why they were being reviewed by the Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ).
The narcolepsy sufferer said they were in receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) as the condition made them 'cognitively slower and sleepier throughout most of the day'.
They said their claim was currently being looked at, but the decision to do so had 'confused' them, as it wasn't something that just 'flares up', instead describing living with the condition as 'sort of consistently s**t'.
