Australia all-rounder Cameron Green has confirmed he’ll be available to bowl in IPL 2026 despite registering himself as a ‘batter’ for the upcoming auction. Green, who is expected to be in huge demand at the event, said that his manager had a ‘stuff-up’ and ‘accidentally’ registered him as a batter.
Green is considered one of the most promising all-rounders in the world. He has the technique and range to play as a specialist batter across formats, while also possessing the ability to bowl at 140kph. The only drawback that comes with his rare skillset is the pressure it puts on his body, making it quite injury-prone.
Green underwent spinal surgery in 2024, which required a long rehab. He initially returned to competitive cricket as a specialist batter, slowly building up bowling workload.
