ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Single-digit temperatures are expected to hit the St. Louis area overnight, with wind making conditions feel even worse.
The cold weather brought snow to Winterfest at Kiener Plaza this weekend, where ice skaters embraced the frigid conditions.
“Yeah, it makes you feel more like the holidays and making the ice skating more exciting,” said Lisa Ortiz, who was ice skating at the event.
Ortiz, originally from Texas, said she was “sucking it up” despite the cold temperatures being unusual for her. Tyler Freshour, visiting St. Louis with his family, said his kids were loving the snow that started falling during their visit.
