The Delhi Government’s Directorate of Education (DoE) directed all schools on Saturday to conduct classes up to Class IX and Class XI in a hybrid mode after the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) imposed Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), with the city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) nearing the ‘Severe Plus’ level of 450.
The directive applies to government, government-aided and recognized private schools under the DoE, NDMC, MCD and the Delhi Cantonment Board. Schools have been asked to offer both physical and online classes wherever feasible, with immediate effect and until further notice.
