Q. I have noticed that shortly after starting my 2010 Chrysler 300, the car, particularly when the engine and transmission are still cold, there is a distinct hesitation or a noticeable ‘skip’ in transmission operation. This sensation typically manifests during initial acceleration or while transitioning through the lower gears. Interestingly, this symptom consistently disappears after approximately five to ten minutes of driving, once the vehicle has reached its optimal operating temperature, and the transmission then performs without any further issues.
