The legendary professional wrestling career of John Cena ended at the conclusion of " WWE Saturday Night's Main Event." Cena stepped inside Capital One Arena in Washington for his final match against Gunther. Several iconic names, such as Kurt Angle, Trish Stratus, Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry, and more, attended the show to see Cena's final appearance as an in-ring performer.

During his entrance, Cena embraced the aforementioned legends, who were sitting in the crowd. He also shared a moment with Booker T, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and other notable performers of the past and present.

Cena and Gunther had a competitive match that saw "The Ring General" go through the announce table. Gunther was even planted with an Avalanche Attitude Adjustment, but he ultimately forced the "Neven Seen 17"
