THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three people were seriously injured in a gas cylinder explosion at a hotel at Azhikode Village in Nedumangad. The explosion occurred while food was being prepared this morning. Two women are among the injured employees. The injured were hotel employees Raji, Simi and Nawaz, who had come to have tea. All three have been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.
It is reported that the injury of Nawaz is very serious. Meanwhile, the actual cause of the accident is not yet clear. There is also confusion on whether it was the gas cylinder or the cooker that exploded. Police and fire force reached the spot and inspected.
