A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday, Dec. 13, on McCarran Boulevard near Kietzke Lane, Reno police said.

Just before 2:15 p.m., Reno police, fire and REMSA responded to the report of a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. The rider died at the scene.

The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The rider’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
