As the tourist season sets in along the Karnataka coast, the Dakshina Kannada district administration, in coordination with the Tourism Department, has unveiled an ambitious master plan to transform the region’s major beaches into vibrant tourist hubs over the next two months. With a packed calendar of cultural, sports and leisure events lined up across key coastal stretches, the administration hopes to significantly boost tourist footfall during the peak season.
