Two people were taken into custody on Sunday as law enforcement officials responded to Australia’s popular Bondi Beach for a "developing incident," the New South Wales Police Force said. "The scenes in Bondi are shocking and distressing," Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia said in a statement . "Police and emergency responders are on the ground working to save lives.
