The Maharashtra assembly wrapped up its winter session with an impressive record of productivity. The session, which spanned seven days in Nagpur, saw the Lower House operating for a total of 72 hours and 35 minutes. Remarkably, only 10 minutes were lost, according to Speaker Rahul Narwekar.

During this period, 18 bills were introduced, of which 16 received approval. This highlights the assembly's commitment to efficiency and legislative progress. The focus now shifts to the next important gathering, with the upcoming session scheduled for February 23 of the following year.

The state legislature is also set to conduct its budget session in February, marking a busy period for lawmakers as they strategize for future developments in Maharashtra.
